They always say that all good things come in small parcels but I must admit I think whoever invented that saying, was simply a small person trying to make themselves feel better about being vertically challenged! I'm only 5ft 4in and in my household out the females I'm the tallest... which is great but being quite petite I know there are certain rules with clothing that I just can't pull off, one of those is actually avoiding wearing anything 'maxi' related.
I find with maxi dresses or skirts, they just drown me or make me look stupidly shorter than I already am. I always avoid them to be honest purely for that reason...do you find that? I've put it off for years but decided I'd throw caution to the wind and add a maxi dress to my wardrobe. The only one of it's kind and style hung in my closet I decided to wear it for winter wedding. This is a fabulous dress that is extremely effortless as there is so much detail at the top of it, so much so that you don't really need to think about how to style it because it simply does all the talking. This is the Chi Chi Erin Dress and you'll be thrilled to know it's actually just gone into the sale for £56.99. I really loved the detail and the fact it looks so classic and chic. I've added these Miss Luxe suede platforms to give me super dooper height!
