I loved the first book The Awakening and couldn't wait to read the rest of the trilogy. The Becoming is just as good. I loved every word and raced through it in a couple of days. This book picks up where the first book finished, with Breen returning to Talamh with her gay best friend Marco who vows to be by her side until the end. In Talamh, Breen start to train how to harness her powers for a war coming against Odran and his followers and finds herself falling in love. Marco finds love as well. Breen is still trapped between two worlds trying to help protect Talamh while having some kind of life as a published author back in her own world. Everyone welcome Breen in Talamh but one woman whose obsessive love threatens them all. This is a corker. I can't wait to read The Choice.
