I gave Beats' Solo Pro Noise-canceling on-ear headphones got high marks, but were a little overpriced at $ 300 and were disappointed that they didn't have a cord for wired listening for the price. Well, now they've dropped to $ 200 in certain colors (red, blue, and sky blue) which is roughly the lowest price we've seen for them.
Could this have anything to do with any hints that Apple will soon be releasing its full-size noise-canceling headphones, allegedly known as "headphones" AirPods Studio? Probably. Even so, the Beats Solo Pro suffered a drop in price, especially at the beginning of the Christmas shopping season.
These noise-canceling headphones are equipped with six microphones, two of which are beamforming microphones that you can use to play your voice while you are on the phone or speak to your voice assistant (Apple's H1 chip is always on board for Siri). The sound is smooth and balanced with punchy bass that doesn't make the music boom. The more compact design is quite comfortable for an on-ear model and works better than many full-size noise-canceling headphones.
