The Battle for Our Hearts Cry.

By Rachel Rachelhagg @thehaggerty5

” May God give you every desire of your heart, and carry out your every plan as you go into battle. When you succeed we will celebrate and shout for joy. Flags will fly when victory is YOURS! Yes, God will answer your prayers and we will praise him!

I know God gives me all that I ask for , and brings victory to His anointed King.

My DELIVERANCE cry will be heard in His holy heaven.

Through his mighty hand

Miracles will manifest through His saving strength.

Some find their strength in weapons and wisdom,

But MY miracle deliverance can never be won by men.

Our boast is in the Lord our God who

Makes us STRONG and gives us victory!

Our enemies will not prevail, they will only collapse and Perish,

in defeat while we will rise up, full of COURAGE!

Give victory to our King, O God!

The day we call on you, give us your answer!

Psalm 20

War

When pouring into the Psalms the past couple of weeks, I’ve noticed a few things about our dreams as followers of Christ. Our peace, and our strength.

He does not stutter when he uses the word ” battle ” , here is the definition of it. You know in case you’ve never looked it up. Like me.

Battle-

a military fight between groups of soldiers, ships, airplanes, etc.

: a violent fight in which people use weapons

: a fight between people or groups in which each side tries to win a contest (such as a game or an election) or to gain control of something (such as a company)

There is a clear, yet very discrete battle for our minds. Often times we aren’t aware of the battle at all. We live life ignoring it and smelling the roses along the way. But what happens when we really, I mean really go after our hearts desires?

I hate to break it to myself, but it involves a battle in which we all need to be equipped to fight . Doing what the Lord called us to do often involves us in a battle. This is not being pessimistic, this is being real.

We are called to be soldiers in the kingdom, to take what HE PAID FOR ON THE CROSS.

All our sickness

Infirmity

Suffering

The list goes on, but I will say this. No good soldier leaves a battle. He remains , and he prevails. Through the sweat and the tears , he presses on. When he arrives to the battle scene exhausted, he is held up by his fellow soldiers, willing to risk their lives for him. Willing to stand guard while he rests.

I’m getting it out of my head that my life doesn’t have to be easy for me to feel joy. I can feel joy in each battle I’m called to carry my sword to. I can feel his manifest presence in the thick of the canon’s being shot around me.

Even in the battle, we can cry out to our leader for the next move.

Does a good Sargent lead his men into battle with no weapons?

NO.

He leads them fully aware of their strength, because they have been trained to fight for what is theirs.

What is ours in this life?

JOY

PEACE

PROSPERITY

FERTILITY

FAVOR

WHOLENESS

HEALING

FREEDOM

FINANCIAL BLESSING

JOY
JOY
JOY
JOY

JOY

Out of all of these things, the one that Satan is after the most is our Joy in being in the Fathers presence. He loves to distract , and sway us towards other things that make us feel joyful. That is why in his presence there is FULLNESS of joy. He paid for JOY on the cross. It’s ours as a gift, to open up and invite into our homes. When we lack his joy, we live our lives with an empty void filled with our human nature.

Just one drink of his fine wine will change your life forever. Just a taste of his presence. Oh how he longs to fill you, in this moment in time. How he longs to sit you on his lap and rock you. How he longs to make you new.

How he longs to love you. So, tonight let him love you. THEN and only then should you go into battle. Knowing full well, deep in your soul that your Defender loves you . He is for you, and is shouting for you to win your gold. When we trust him, and press on, we WILL see victory arise. We will be set free.
