Verdict on The Bastard Sons
The Bastard Sons is a crime thriller following a member of a crime family. He has seen his boss set up and murdered and looks to get revenge on the people involved in the crime. However, not everything is as smooth as he was expecting.
This is a slow-moving crime thriller that ends up only giving us a thin story. It feels like the early chapter of a much bigger movie, instead of an extended movie that doesn’t go very far. There isn’t enough in the story to justify the length of this short movie. However, it ends up leaving us wanting more from the world, instead of feeling empty by the full story. It also falls into the typical generic crime boss characteristics offering nothing fresh to the genre of movies.
Final Thoughts – The Bastard Sons is a by-the-book crime thriller.
