Verdict on The Bad Shepherd
The Bad Shepherd is a thriller following four friends who stumble into a life-changing amount of money. They look to split the money until a stranger arrives which creates an uneasy tension. It leads to them fighting among themselves over whom to trust about the situation.
This is a strong character piece showing how fragile friendships can be. It creates a lot of tension around how the money is being treated as a way to end a friendship despite there being enough for the four. The secrets are exposed, and people are pushed to their limits. This keeps you guessing from start to finish and creates a wonderfully crafted story of trust and mistrust.
