Verdict on The Baby Snatcher
The Baby Snatcher is a thriller following two best friends whose lives are changed when one loses their baby. It leads to the other having a breakdown in her attempts to get back to a life where she could be a mother. Showing a much darker side to her personality.
This movie goes down a dark path and shows a lasting change someone would suffer through. It shows the pain of losing an unborn child and the damage it could do to someone’s mental health. However, we turn into a much more psychotic journey that doesn’t completely make sense. It doesn’t seem to suggest enough jealousy, more focused on pure rage for no reason. Nothing feels convincing here and by the end of the movie, it will feel like a flat story.
Where to Watch
The Baby Snatcher will make its UK digital debut on 9 September courtesy of Scatena & Rosner Films.
Final Thoughts – The Baby Snatcher doesn’t get as intense as it presents itself.
