A Tale Of Two Halves...
Again, I could be talking about the football (what a great performance in the second half!!) but I really mean seeing both Faye and Emily's wedding morning.
Emily's was a quieter affair with her friends and flower girl enjoying snacks and prosecco. She was soon in her dark navy suit and pale blue bow tie, to match their Bridesmaids and Best Woman.
Once I'd helped her Step Mum get the football on, Faye's morning was a little livelier with lots of bubbles flowing. Tears soon followed when the incredibly thoughtful gifts were given out.
A Wedding Morning in Southport
As Emily made her way from Crossens in Southport to The Aviary it was all hands on deck to twist and tie the Bridesmaids at Faye's parents in to their dresses.
Faye's Mum helped her get in to her stunning dress with flowing sleeves before revealing her final look to her Bridal party.
Everyone was in tears before I made the mad dash over to the wedding venue, ready to capture both Bride's making their walk down the aisle.
Outdoor Ceremony at The Aviary
The Aviary at Ormskirk has a beautiful outdoor space to get married (when the weather in Lancashire behaves!).
Their outdoor ceremonies are held by the waters edge of the pond and has plenty of space for any sized wedding.
Faye and Emily kept it simple with the venue chairs and a few perfectly placed blue bows to tie in their colour scheme.
Emily was first to walk down the aisle with their Nephew (who gave her a big squeeze at the end!).
This seemed to set the Best Woman off, who also needed a big squeeze!
Emily then made her way down the aisle on the arm of her Step Mum Gwen.
Taking a moment at the top of the aisle to compose herself, she cried and laughed all the way to her future Wife...
