Nollywood actor, Seun Jimoh has lamented about the current economic situation of the country, saying that average Nigerians are not the ones that should continue making the sacrifices.

In a post that was shared on the official Instagram page of Seunseanjimoh, he made it known that the average Nigerian doesn’t need to make sacrifices, saying that people have already sacrificed a lot over the decades.

He maintained that Nigerian billionaires should be taxed because they are the ones who have benefited from fuel subsidies.

In his statement, he said, “The hardship Nigeria faces today is accentuated partly because of the removal of recurrent, wasteful, and misappropriated fuel subsidies.

“While it is unsustainable for a country that has been run on debt to subsidize everything, we must take into consideration the economic power of the common man.

“Subsidy for petroleum isn’t a luxury, the people deserve it, at least until other parts of the economy that can improve the average Nigerian’s life are fixed.

“Subsidy of electricity should be probed by anyone or group that has benefited from it.

“Obviously, not for the average citizen, the hardship in Nigeria is untold and undeserved.

“All the billionaires in Nigeria should be placed on billionaire tax because most of them have fed fat on the resources of the country for decades and generations.

“The average Nigerian doesn’t need to make sacrifices, we have sacrificed so much over the decades.”……….See More
