This author has been on my radar since I read and loved the first book in the trilogy, The Atlantis Gene earlier this year. I was looking forward to finding out where the series went next. This is quite different from the first book, the plague has spread across the world, thousands are dying every day, the so-called cure Orchid only holds the plague back temporarily and when it fails the death toll skyrockets. Like the first book, the chapters bounce back and forth between David, Kate and Dorian and each characters plot-line gradually merge together. Like the first book, there are lots of revelations and the book is very fast-paced. I look forward to reading the conclusion.
