The classic horror film takes place on Bird Island, an untouched paradise inhabited by computer-generated birds who are naive and innocent and know nothing of the outside world. Melanie Daniels is a modern rich socialite, part of the jet-set who always gets what she wants.
Red, the lead of the film, is prone to losing his temper and attacks Melanie as she is crossing the bay in a small boat. Then, Lydia finds her neighbor dead, obviously the victim of another angry bird, Chuck, who moves fast and talks fast.
Soon, birds in the hundreds and thousands are attacking anyone they find out of doors Bomb, another main character, frequently blows up due to his disorder IED, Intermittent Explosions Disorder. Bomb lives in a bomb shelter.
There is no explanation as to why this might be happening, and as the angry birds continue their vicious catapult-based attacks, survival becomes the priority.
