Yorkshire Moors Wedding Photography
I love that we have had the opportunity to get to know Gabby for a long while before her wedding came round a few weeks ago. You see, she found us through her friend Rachael (whose wedding we shot last year) and so we have had nearly 2 years to get to know her and when that happens – it feels like you are showing up to an old friend’s wedding. I am so soppy like that – so I always get super excited to shoot the weddings of our long time clients.
Gabby had a lovely relaxed day full of very typical Yorkshire Moors weather (aka – fog with a side of more fog!) and we had a fab time stopping to take a few photos out on the hills along the way. Gabby’s day started with a fantastic Catholic ceremony with literally THE COOLEST priest ever performing the ceremony. Then, a drive across the moors over to The Alma Inn for a gorgeous meal and lots of visiting with friends and family. Gabby even had family come all the way from Italy – bringing with them the most scrumptious Italian treats. We took a few more photos out on the hills behind The Alma Inn and I have to say – Gabby is totally hardcore – that woman is NOT afraid to climb a fence. Or two – or three. My kinda girl!
The evening ended with lots of dancing and even more shenanigans late into the evening.
Congratulations you two – I hope you enjoyed your honeymoon (and I am not jealous at all)!
