The Airbus A380 is the world’s largest aircraft. It made it’s first passenger flight on the 25th of October, 2007, when it made its way from Singapore to Sydney. To accommodate the arrival of the Airbus, Sydney Airport spent $126 million dollars widening the runway, reinforcing the underground tunnels and the construction of special air bridges to accommodate the A380′s double-decker design.
