Frankly, there are a lot of smartphone brands in the country! And deciding which one is the best based on product and service quality, is simply impossible. Not really, at least with our list. Here are some of the best smartphone brands in India that you must go with while making your next purchase. Here we go-

1. Motorola

The company was the first one to make a mobile phone, and the reason is enough for it topping our list of best smartphone brands in India. The company has seen various ups and downs in the recent past, but have managed to maintain, and in most cases, increase their charm among the customers. Which else company gives you pure Android experience and quick OS updates in budget devices? None!

2. Xiaomi

If you haven't ever heard this company's name, then where have you been? Mars? Xiaomi is doing wonders, not only in China, but also in India. Their budget offerings are loved by the Indian audience and they sell millions of devices each year in India itself. There are a lot of reasons that favour the company.

3. Samsung

Samsung is the largest seller of smartphones in India. And the reason for this massive success? Their extensive product line-up; which ranges from the budget devices in Galaxy J series to high end premium smartphones in Galaxy S and Note series. The company has a lot of devices!

4. OnePlus

A Chinese startup, but is already ruling the markets all over the world. OnePlus launched just three smartphones since it was founded, and is now competing with some of the largest brands in the world. The OnePlus 2 and OnePlus X have been very popular in India for their flagship features and mid-range pricing.

5. Micromax

The home-grown Indian smartphone manufacturer has been making news form some time now, and is the second largest smartphone maker in the country. Unlike most of the Chinese brands, Micromax manufactures the phones in India itself, and hence keeps the pricing low, which we Indians always love. No doubt Micromax is one of the best smartphone brands in India.

6. Sony

Pick up any Sony product, and you will find it perfect from every aspect, so are their smartphones. Sony has always been focusing on mid-range and high end segment of the market, and that's the reason they aren't as popular as other Chinese/Indian brands. Still, Sony Xperia smartphones offer the best user experience in their respective price segment.

7. Apple

The company needs no introduction; in fact, most of us wish to own an iPhone someday. In India, the company holds 2% market share, and is the market leader in above Rs. 30,000 price segment. The Apple smartphones are priced a bit on the higher side, but are still worth the price for its seamless and unparalleled user experience.

8. Lenovo

First of all, you must know that Lenovo is the company that owns Motorola, which booked the top spot in this list of best smartphone brands. Lenovo makes smartphones under different sub-brands. Their Vibe series smartphones have been very popular in the market as they offer great value for money proposition for the buyers with a tight pocket.

Apart from the best smartphone brands mentioned above, there are several other companies that make really good smartphones and are gradually gaining popularity in the segment. Some of them are HTC, Lava, LG, Intex, Gionee, Huawei, Coolpad, LeEco, Asus, YU, Vivo, Oppo, and the list is endless.
