Elf (2003)
Elf will grab the attention of every family member. Will Ferrell is at his best in this popular Christmas movie and there’s plenty of action and drama to keep everyone’s eyes on the screen.
Smallfoot (2018)
Smallfoot is a charming new-ish animated comedy that’s set in the snowy Himalayas. Though not explicitly a holiday film, this movie has the winter scenery and heartwarming themes that we love to watch with a candy cane in hand.
Harry Potter and The Sorcerer’s Stone (2001)
If you have older children, the best family movie to watch this winter may be Harry Potter. Each movie features a classic winter scene and is super fun to watch. For a truly all-ages film, go with the Christopher Columbus directed first film of the series.
