In mid 2009 when Harley-Davidson liquidated the Buell brand, Ronin Motor Works was created and acquired 47 of the Buell 1125 motorcycles. These master less bikes were stored to be rebirthed in 2012 and pay homage to the story of the The 47 Ronin from Japanese folklore. The result is something that will even give Batman a teary eye. The whole frame was overhauled and other features have been redesigned. One example of this is the new fuel mapping to accommodate the free-flow intake and exhaust system of the new design. This reduced the overheating issues of the original bike. The plan is to roll it out in 6 phases with the first one already out in a smooth silver and black classic.
