Where's Bellamy? This is obviously the question that will animate the heroes, and fans, of The 100 during the seventh and last season of the series which began Wednesday night across the Atlantic on The CW. During the first few minutes of this season premiere highly anticipated, Bellamy, embodied by Bob Morley, was still recovering from the disappearance of his sister, Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos), sucked by a cloud of green mist at the very end of season 6, when he knocked out and was swept away by mysterious attackers released by the Anomaly. An unexpected twist which according to the creator of The 100 will play "a huge role in this final season".
"It's the mystery that the heroes will try to solve"reveals Jason Rothenberg to TVLine. "This is what will motivate many of our characters this season: find Bellamy and try to save her". And if the creator and showrunner of The 100 does not say clearly if Bob Morley will be absent from part of the 16 episodes of this season 7, everything suggests that he will not appear in all the episodes. Indeed, Jason Rothenberg explains that Bob Morley asked the production to free him time and that this is how the writers had the idea to make Bellamy "disappear": "Bob asked us to take some time off this season to make time for him, and we honored his request. We included [son absence] to the plot ". But that does not mean that Bellamy will die or that he will not be rescued by his comrades since Jason Rothenberg assures him, "we will see him again".
The question now is who are the mysterious soldiers who kidnapped Bellamy and where they took him. Season 7 of The 100 already promises its share of twists and turns, according to the revelations made by Rothenberg to Collider, it may well be that this last burst of episodes takes its time to reveal certain elements of its plot. And especially his big bad guy. "Sheidheda is clearly a big threat to Sanctum. But there is an even bigger threat somewhere". This is what is said.
