That Sweater

There’s some pieces that are not only very much hyped at times, but stay great basics and never really go out of fashion. I believe this is the case for the cutout Balenciaga boots, Acne pop jeans, Isabel Marant wedge boots (I mean, she basically re-did my boots from 2011 in different colors for this fall), and there’s more pieces to think of that were both a big trend but are timeless as well. Now I don’t always care about trends and the best pieces in my closet are really good basics like the perfect skinny jeans, a cool leather jacket.. But of course, I don’t ignore trends either  and can go absolutely crazy over very non-timeless pieces, but when it comes to investments they’re mostly not that dependent on trends. This hope sweater falls into the same category I described above, and FINALLY I got my hands on it. Of course we were all drooling over it when Elin Kling and Columbine Smille wore it to some fashion week and then it was sold for months, but I still always kept it in my mind because it seemed to be the perfect oversized turtleneck to cuddle up in during fall and winter. And it is.
Thus the story of this sweater. These pictures are actually still from London! I’m happy to still have them because I got a new computer and something went terribly wrong yesterday when transferring my pictures and I lost loads of them :( Shit happens, if I may say so. I’m trying to not think about it too much though since apparently gone is gone, and there’s a learning experience in everything (never forget to do your back-up and always double check everything!). I’m off again, doing a little work today but I also have a movie night with a big bowl or popcorn planned, since I need to recharge a little for a very busy week next week!  Enjoy your Sunday lovelies.
