That Certain Slant of Light

When I’m supposed to be focusing on exams, I’m thinking of everything but. Spring has finally sprung and I can only think about the weather, especially the sun. I have an odd obsession with light. I love the ways it can bend, blend, and transform. I just love the way it sparkles off different surfaces and takes different shapes. Here’s a picture my friend Meredith drew of me a while back. The original looks a bit like this:

At the time I took this picture, I was sitting in my bathtub listening to my iPOD…which probably is unusual. I didn’t care because I couldn’t get over the way the sun was coming through the blinds. It was just gorgeous. This certain slant of light inspires me to look at things from different angles before making conclusions.
