Thanks to my recent obsession with Pintrest, I am discoverying more and more new designers!
As I had been going through some health issues early on in the year, I got myself hooked on the latest social media sensation: Pintrest where anyone can basically collect images and videos about all the things that they love or that interest them in aid of inspiration or simply sharing with the world. A little bit like on Tumblr, users can comment like or re-share images and follow their favorite pinners.
From the wealth of images and photogrphy being shared on the relativity new site, I have discovered so many designers that I didnt really know before, such as the above Zuhair Murad, Haute couture. I find myself gazing upon such beutiful dresses with amazing fabrics, construction and detailng that it just takes my breath away and 9 out of ten times it is Murad who gets my attention.
Known mostly as a dress designer I think, Murad and other designers can only benefit from the mass sharing of their designs on such a website, and I hope that one day it will be my designs which hit the popularity jackpot, and I look forward to discovering more new sources of inspiration during my hours of online browsing and pinning.
