Thank You!

By Emma @glasgowfoodie

Last week I had a bit of a health scare. Don't worry (and no luck Mr Foodie!) I'm still here but I wanted to thank everyone for their kind wishes and the staff at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for their care. It's cliche but, the NHS is smashing. Whisked in for tests and without worrying about how to pay for it.

Basically, I felt grim. I can't really explain the feeling apart from feeling extremely grim, enough to merit phoning the doctor, which is not like me at all. I was kept in hospital for observation as we all had no idea what had happened, and I've to go back for more tests. It could be stress, genes or who knows! Contrary to popular belief we're not out every night eating 20-course dinners (only 10-course ones!)

One thing that the hospital sorted me out with was Mac and Cheese! Did they know I was coming in?!

Thank you!
Thank you!

This is as near as I hope to get to a hospital food review for a while. (7/10 for mac and cheese, 10/10 for service, toilets spotless!)

I'm out of the hospital, at home and out and about getting ready for Southside Pastaval with My Shawlands this Sunday (26th May), so say hello if you are coming along!

So, there's no change in things here, I'm alive and well, still blogging and living life like everyone else, the only difference being I write about it and take far too many photos of food!

🥰
