Thank You 2015 and Welcome 2016!

By Robin Salvador @vinzsalvador23

Another year is about to end which means another chapter of the book is about to begin. My 2015 has been a year of learning, molding, maturing and experiencing different phases of life that helped me became a better representation of myself. I experienced a lot of new things, got to meet new people, been to many different places, tried to became more independent and followed Christ's leading. There are a lot of things that I did and there are some things that I ignored because I know that it's not the perfect time for me.

This year has been a year of consistent inner battle in me - spiritually and emotionally. I'm not a perfect person and not even close. There are some instances where I lied, did things for the applause of people around me, cursed people who have hurt me and jumped into some decisions without God's approval. Yes, I'm a human also, I'm falling, hurting and sinning. But these things doesn't matter to me anymore because I know that God has already forgiven my repentant heart.

Before the year ends, I just want to thank the Lord for His unending love, compassion and faithfulness in my life. His love never fails and He's continue working in my life to become the person that He wants me to be. Praise Him for continue bringing people in my life to be blessed and be blessed. Family, friends, workmates and d-group are my greatest blessings of 2015. The support system is such an amazing factor to go on with this wonderful life that God has given.

No one knows what's in store for me for the upcoming year, but I just want to live a life one day at a time. As the bible says in Matthew 6:34 "So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own".

Thank you 2015 and I'm so excited for you 2016!
