Shouldn’t the acronym be be called TGIS…as in Thank Goodness It’s Saturday since Saturday is the official start of the weekend? On Friday you actually have to work and be bothered with it all. Or is it TGIF because of the elation and exclamation of making it to Friday knowing that the next day (Saturday) is a day free from the trials and tribulations of the work week? Am I overthinking and over analyzing the entire thing? Maybe it is all three of these things. It really doesn’t matter and I am on a sleep deprived exhaustion induced aside, tangent, digression, rant, and ramble. I don’t know the answers to any of the questions BTW. These are the random thoughts racing through my mind as I freestyle the writing of this post on Friday night. I’m laying in bed fatigued and mentally binging on internet nonsense. A great to unwind and decompress from what seems to be the longest week ever (insert sarcasm). I hope you successfully made it through your week. If not, oh well. Hopefully you did your best and made the best of whatever situations you found yourself in. Now let go. Let god and be thankful for the weekend.
