Oh hi there Friday. Nice to see you again. This week was an absolute whirlwind and a super busy one for me! My fiancé’s birthday was Wednesday, and in addition to his birthday celebration(s), we’ve done something practically every night since last Friday. Earlier this week, we caught a concert at the House of Blues here in New Orleans, and the next night we had a super romantic and delicious dinner at Dickie Brennan’s Steakhouse here in NOLA. So. Good. And the service was excellent. If you’re ever in New Orleans I highly recommend any of the Brennan family restaurants. They have several throughout the city and they are all amazing!
And in other news this week – our wedding planning efforts are going forward full steam ahead! We finally found a wedding planner and she has been amazing to work with so far. In the week or so since she’s come on we’ve hired a florist, booked our engagement photos, and made a huge dent in our guest list and the corresponding spreadsheet with names and addresses that goes along with it. Guest list = not my favorite part in the wedding planning process so far. The sash for my bridal gown came in this week and I also picked out my wedding shoes. This is all so unreal, I still can’t believe it’s actually happening! Like I mentioned, I’m pretty tuckered out from this week, but I’ll be at the store working this weekend. Other than that, I’ll be trying to get in as much rest and relaxation as possible! I hope everyone has a great weekend!
