I had the great pleasure of attending the wonderful Spring/Summer preview event for TEVA Footwear, and to welcome their newest launch, Flatforms, (available in Flatform Sandal, and Flatform Universal). Known for their Water Shoes, Flip Flops, Sandals, and Hiking Shoes for men and women, TEVA's footwear boasts a proprietary Comfort Technology exclusive to the brand.
To help celebrate the Spring/Summer 2015 Collection, attendees had the opportunity to select one of the new Flatform styles and DIY it their way. TEVA provided lots of markers, embroidery thread, paint, stones, and other craft supplies for attendees to select from for their DIY.
I decided to go with the white and orange Women's Flatform Sandal (shown below in my color of choice, and french blue) for my DIY Flatforms.This style is also available in black, formula one (red, black, and white), bright white, and freesia (yellow, black, and white).
I decided to use the bold orange stripe as my color inspiration, while I thought about a design plan. While those around me flocked to the colorful stones and studs to decorate their TEVA Flatforms, I decided to go a bit abstract and use only paint for my watercolor art inspiration.
I must say, although I let the paint and colors control my thought process, I am very happy with the final result. I'm so looking forward to when the weather finally breaks and we all get a chance to let our toes out. What do you guys think of my DIY? How would you decorate your TEVA Sandals?
