Verdict on Test

Recap

The movie follows three lives getting tangled up over a competitive cricket match. It follows a fallen hero in the game who has been struggling to find his place. A man facing cripling debts and a woman in the middle of their lives.

Best Parts

This presents an interesting perspective on how easily sports can be manipulated by individuals. It shows how sporting heroes face bad times and people turning on them. This controlling situation works well too and in the end we get a nice tense thriller. The performances are strong throughout, too.

Worst Parts

This is slightly longer than necessary. We could have easily seen the same story within the 2-hour mark. It is also not going to interesting people who have no idea about cricket.

Final ThoughtsTest is a tense thriller, even if the runtime is a little too long.
