A new product catalog posted on Wednesday shows that Tesla is making a Cyberwhistle that looks like its futuristic Cybertrucks. The organization said:
“Inspired by Cybertruck, the limited-edition Cyberwhistle is a premium collectible made from medical-grade stainless steel with a polished finish. The whistle includes an integrated attachment feature for added versatility.”
Products will be shipped within 4 to 6 weeks. All sales are final. Also, Tesla customers can only pay with Dogecoin (DOGE). At the time the book was published, it cost 1,000 DOGE, which is about $60. Taxes and shipping are included in the DOGE price.
Tesla says that Dogecoin is the only cryptocurrency that can be used to buy certain products right now. Like other digital asset transactions, any wrong amounts or types of assets sent to its address will not be reversed or refunded. Users need a Dogecoin wallet to pay for Tesla products.
“It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure that Dogecoin is transferred accurately.”
Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, has been a vocal supporter of the meme currency. Last year, he said, “Dogecoin is better for payments than Bitcoin.” In May, SpaceX did what Tesla did and started accepting Dogecoin as payment for goods. After a $258 billion lawsuit claimed that the token was part of a crypto Ponzi scheme, the billionaire tech entrepreneur recently increased his support for DOGE. “I’ll keep backing Dogecoin,” he said.
