My response:
I didn’t realize politically-motivated discrimination was legal in this country.
This is not simply about “anyone can fire whoever they want.” This is blatant and overt admission of targeting people based on their political affiliation. Regardless of the effects of Obamacare on business or the bottom line, this just is not right and it is not defensible. If you need to cut costs and even cut staff, politics should have nothing to do with whom you cut.
And “Obongo?” What is that? But this guy will cry foul if anyone dares call him a racist, I’m sure.
This is pretty shameful.
