Terry De Havilland, Jesmond

Terry de Havilland is a huge influence in the fashion industry with his footwear collection spanning over five decades. I was invited along to the new store in Jesmond to see the collection and find out more. The Jesmond store opened in August this year, not long after the pop up store just off Carnaby Street in London. Terry's wife, Liz, is originally from Jesmond so it made sense to open a store in the North East. The store itself looks incredible and stocks the Terry de Havilland main line and is the exclusive outlet for sample sales and special offers, so it's well worth a visit.
The pixie boots were my favourites of the night, closely followed by the Margaux wedges which are the best sellers and a whole host of celebrities own pairs. As someone who doesn't often wear heels, I was really drawn to the sandals too which are so versatile, though I was reminded the wedges are incredible comfy - one of the assistants in store wore them for a whole day then into the night and her feet were fine.  I also saw the shoes that Jennifer Lawrence wore in the recent X Men: Days Of Future Past and the exclusive pairs for Anna Sui SS15 show from NYFW. Whether you're looking for something to make a statement or classic heels that are just that little bit different, there's something for everyone.The candle I received on the evening smells amazing and if I can buy more of those in store, I really need to know about it before I use it up too quickly!
