Tennent’s Barcade – arcade pub fun
If you love 80’s arcade games you’ll love the new addition to pubs from Tennent’s.
Based on the beer brand’s animated series Wellpark you can play Chap-Door-Run. Bobby faces an assault course of obstacles as he makes his way to the pub).
Paul Condron, Marketing Director at Tennent’s said: “Lots of us look back fondly on the days before smartphones and Facebook, when we’d entertain ourselves outside playing games like Wallie and Chappy.
“So we thought it would be fun for punters to re-live the nostalgia of younger days and have a bit of a laugh as part of the latest Wellpark series.”
Our chums Chris & Jen ventured to Wellpark to check the Barcade out as they love their gaming. Both came back raving about how good it was to play arcade games again, especially retro-style ones.
Four Barcade games will be previewed at T in the Park, before touring Scottish pubs and bars from 25th July.
