These days most people will store their photos in the cloud and kind of forget about them. But there are thing you can do with them other than leaving them inside of the digital cloud. While no means a definitive list here are ten amazing things you might want to consider doing with them...
Wall Art
Do you have one or two photos that you think are good enough to hang on your wall? If so you might be surprised at how cheap you can do just that. Some sites will even add a frame and blow the image up to a much larger size. If you are worried about photo quality with the increase in size you should check out the size of the image in pixels as most normal smartphone pictures are thousands of pixels in size and can be blown-up to massive sizes.
Play Around With Them
Most cloud storage with photos have an editor online meaning you can crop, rotate, add filters and even add stickers & text. This can often be a good laugh and you might even end up with better images to use in any of these other ideas.
Wear Them
If you do a quick search for custom clothing you will soon come across sites and pages offering to clothing mad with your own photos (like this crazy wedding suit). But it's not just suits, its socks, ties and even pants! It's not something you can wear every day, but it could a one-off for a wedding or hen-party.
Eat Them
Most larger supermarkets have edible sheet printers for cakes and other things and they don't cost a lot at all. You could make cookies, cakes or just chow down on a photo someone you love. This is a weird one, but it can also get a few smiles at a birthday party.
Photo Album
While some cloud storage programs do have this option I am of course talking about a real-world physical photo album (like our nans used to crack out every year). These not only make for a good gift idea for someone, but they are also a nice way to share memories every once and a while.
Mug Shot
Why not use one or more images on a coffee mug! Most people enjoy getting a personalised mug as a gift, but what about a mug with their photo on it turned into a meme or edited to make it look even funnier! Has someone got an embarrassing office photo? Why not get loads of mugs printed and troll them!
Snuggle Up in Them
Here is an odd use for them, why not get them printed onto a large cuddle fleece for a little one to make their own blankie, or just to be used as a throw over a bed or sofa. I kind of like this idea and could see it as a good gift idea as well, full of embarrassing photos of someone.
Wrap Them Up
With Christmas fast approaching why not get some wrapping paper printed that is made up using your own images! If you have some spare cash you could even wrap each present up in wrapping paper made of photos for that person! It would impress me anyway and does make the gift much more personal, even if the gift inside of the paper isn't.
Personalised Cards
With so many online card stores to choose from you can often get a great deal when you use your own photos to make a personalised card for birthdays, Christmas and many other occasions. It's easy to do and often comes with small gifts that make it a more complete gift idea.
Make Money
And we finish with a truly weird one. If you think your photos are not good enough to sell you are underestimating the quality of a good flower image, pedigree pet or of a static building taken with a modern smartphone. While this method isn't going to turn you into a millionaire, it might mean you get a few pennies to spend on one of the other methods mentioned here.
