Verdict on Teleport

Teleport is a sci-fi horror following two refugees trying to escape a broken country. However, they get separated in a human trafficking scheme that sees women picked from around the globe. They face a race against time to escape if they are ever going to get reunited.

This movie brings us an interesting spin on the human trafficking story. Not only does it paint a future with a more advanced way to operate it, but we also see how trapped the victims are once involved. Away from that side of the story, we get a more political debate about refugees and transporting them. It paints a bleak future where not many people have a chance at the life they want. However, despite the great concept, we do see most of the typical storyline battles to escape, even if we have a few moments full of horror we can never imagine.
