Two teenagers are facing charges after allegedly faked kidnapping in shopping mall in Georgia. They recorded the whole process, wanted to elaborate the staged kidnapping afterwards and the reason behind is bizarre.
Multiple 911 calls were received in minutes, all of them reporting possible abduction in a shopping mall. Many witnesses saw young girl with her hands tied and covering over her head on the parking lot in front of a shopping mall. According to the witnesses the girl was forced to enter a parked vehicle.
The girl, later identified as 17-year-old A. Coleman, was screaming “He is going to kill me.”
The police responded with 8 patrol cars within minutes and half of the County deputies trying to locate and stop the vehicle. The officers were rushing through the area for 20 minutes trying to save the girl thinking she was kidnapped for real.
Shortly after the vehicle was stopped by an off-duty officer and there were no signs of abduction in the car. The driver was identified as 19-year-old Christopher K., while the girl was sitting next to him untied and without the head covering.
Later that day, authorities learned that both of them were allegedly filming a kidnapping prank to gain more followers on their Youtube channel.
As a result, Coleman and Christopher were charged with reckless conduct, a misdemeanor, and raising a false public alarm, a felony.
