A 17-year-old boy has been charged with homicide after one other teenager died throughout a avenue combat on Queensland 's Sunshine Coast final evening.

On Friday morning Detective Senior Sergeant Phil Hurst of Maroochydore police stated the 16-year-old had sustained knife accidents that 'weren't survivable'.

'The household is clearly traumatised as a result of they grew to become conscious of the incident shortly after,' he stated.

'Relations and members of the general public [were] attempting to revive and carry out CPR on the sufferer.

'When police arrived, they took over after which ambulance officers arrived and began doing CPR however sadly, they had been unable to revive him.'
