Teddy’s Bigger Burgers at Greenbelt 3: A Review

Greenbelt 3 now has another fantastic restaurant to lure mallgoers with. And it hails all the way from Hawaii! The 2nd branch in Asia, Teddy's Bigger Burgers at Greenbelt 3 is a terrific US-based burger joint that offers food in crazy gigantic portions. If you want to get massive quick, just drop by Teddy's every day for a week. Well your wallet won't be as happy as your tummy, but at least you've got your taste buds siding with you amirite?

Teddy's Original Burger patties are hand-crafted, flame-broiled, and come in three sizes: Big (5 oz), Bigger (7 oz) and Biggest (9 oz).

Each burger patty is made of 100% US corn-fed U.S. Black Angus ground chuck. Delicious, finely ground beef that features a soft and smooth texture and real beef taste. All Teddy burgers by default are cooked medium well and stacked with special sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, onions and pickles unless otherwise specified. Buns available include the potato (default, tender soft and fluffy buns of delight), wheat and lettuce wrap.

Tiki Wings: Php295 for 6 pcs, Php560 for 12 pcs (solo)

Have yourself some sweet and spicy tiki wings while waiting for your burgers! The chicken wings are cooked just right, the sweet sauce lacked a bit more zing, and the bleu cheese dip saves the day with it's creamy texture and balanced blue cheese flavor.

10 oz Monster Double (or 2 5 oz burger patties) Burger with Onion Rings

2/3 of a pound of awesome, the 10 oz Monster Double burger is so filling! It was difficult for me to finish the entire serving, mostly because the burger was almost as big as my face, and the onion rings were either GMOs or simply bigger than the Philippine sort. Teddy's ingredients have all been shipped from abroad (Hawaiian beef, anyone?) so I get the atypical size portions and flavor.

Teddy's Specialty Toppings Waikiki Burger For Php160 additional price, your burger gets teriyaki sauce, spud, cheddar cheese and bacon.

Hawaiian Style For Php70, you get teriyaki sauce and grilled pineapple paradise. Cajun Burger For Php50, you get an extra cajun seasoning and pepperjack cheese on your burger. Kailua Burger For Php150, your burger gets teriyaki sauce, grilled mushroom, grilled onions and swiss cheese. Individual burger toppings are available for a specific price. You can have grilled onions, grilled pineapples, jalapenos, peanut butter, cheddar cheese, American cheese, Swiss cheese and pepperjack cheese for an extra Php35. Avocado, mushroom, bleu cheese, bacon, onion rings and spud costs Php45 a pop. Pastrami on the other hand, is Php65. Extra sauces start at Php35. Choices include special sauce, buffalo sauce, loco moco gracy, teri, barbecue sauce and kilauea fire sauce. Sides available are crispy fries, flavored fries, tater tots, and onion rings. Thick shakes start at Php120 (12 oz), and you can choose a mix of strawberry, chocolate, coffee, vanila, banana and peanut butter flavors. Just a warning to those lactose intolerant: Teddy's thick shakes are made of 90% ice cream and 10% milk!

VERDICT
