Technion Nobel Roots - Tu B'shvat 2014 Israel (video)

Prof. Albert Einstein started a Technion-Nobel tradition in 1923 when he planted a palm tree at Technion's original campus. Since 2007, all visiting Nobel laureates are invited to plant a tree in Technion's Lokey Park. The most recent Nobel Laureate to do so is Israel's President Shimon Peres a 1994 Nobel Peace Laureate who planted his tree on Jan. 8, 2014 on his visit to Technion.
