My Teaser: Somewhere in France by Jennifer Robson (p. 161)"Robbie," she pleased, aghast at his reaction, "please understand. I had to come. Not because I think it's some kind of adventure, or for . . . personal reasons. I'm here so I can make a difference. Just like you promised I would." With that, anger seemed to drain out of him, and he stepped back, his arms falling to his sides. She felt transfixed by the naked anguish in his eyes, bluer than any remembered July sky.
