God’s Excellence
His Deeds
- Psalm 26:7 – That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works.
- Psalm 75:1 – Unto thee, O God, do we give thanks, unto thee do we give thanks: for that thy name is near thy wondrous works declare.
- Psalm 105:2 – Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk ye of all his wondrous works.
- Psalm 107:8, 15, 21, 24, 31 – Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! .. Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! .. Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! .. These see the works of the Lord, and his wonders in the deep. .. Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
- Psalm 139:14 – I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
- Psalm 145:5 – I will speak of the glorious honor of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works.
- Deuteronomy 32:4 – He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.
- Psalm 44:2 – How thou didst drive out the heathen with thy hand, and plantedst them; how thou didst afflict the people, and cast them out.
- Psalm 71:17 – O God, thou hast taught me from my youth: and hitherto have I declared thy wondrous works.
- Psalm 72:18 – Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel, who only doeth wondrous things.
- Psalm 86:10 – For thou art great, and doest wondrous things: thou art God alone.
- Psalm 96:3 – Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people.
- Psalm 98:1 – O sing unto the Lord a new song; for he hath done marvelous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory.
- Isaiah 25:1 – O Lord, thou art my God; I will exalt thee, I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.
- Revelation 15:3 – And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvelous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.
- Genesis 1:3, 10, 12, 18, 21, 25, 31 – And God said, Let there be light: and there was light .. And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good .. And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good .. And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good .. And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good .. And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good .. And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
His Love
- Psalm 31:21 – Blessed be the Lord: for he hath shewed me his marvelous kindness in a strong city.
His Word
- Psalm 119:18, 129 – Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law .. Thy testimonies are wonderful: therefore doth my soul keep them.
- Isaiah 28:29 – This also cometh forth from the Lord of hosts, which is wonderful in counsel, and excellent in working.
- 2 Samuel 22:31 – As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him.
- Psalm 19:7 – The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.
- Proverbs 12:6 – The words of the wicked are to lie in wait for blood: but the mouth of the upright shall deliver them.
- Proverbs 30:5 – Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
