After they were too expensive for my taste at both Jackson Hewitt and H&R Block tax preparation offices years ago, I had started to do my own.
A representative at H&R block told me that I was smart enough to do my own taxes and I sure enough had already gone and done so!
My grandfather (my mother’s father used to do taxes for himself as well as for other people and was able to get people a little extra money back on their tax return).
It is good that we do have the convenience to go to tax preparers if we need or choose to, however, after filing my own taxes free of charge for fifteen years now without a problem I will never go back.
