Tavira, Portugal
Tavira is a quiet Portuguese town, close to many quiet and beautiful beaches. This is the perfect place to relax, also the food is pretty good too! I stayed with my parents in Tavira, but there are more than 100 places listed to stay on online!Hire car - from Tavira to Tarifa via Gibraltar
I traveled in my dads hire car to Tarifa, with a stop off in Gibraltar on the way. If you were traveling by bus, it is possible to get an Alsa bus back to Sevilla, then take a direct bus to La Línea de la Concepción, and walk over the border to Gibraltar. Then from Gibraltar you can walk back over the border to La Línea de la Concepción, and take a bus to Tarifa via Algeciras. Also the ferries to Morocco leave from Algeciras so if you have no desire to visit Tarifa then you can leave Europe from here.A monkey sat on The Rock of Gibraltar
Gibraltar is a British island, off Spain, being British myself meant I could enjoy the food, fish and chips, pasties, all the food people from other countries hate! There is a lot of British architecture here and of course, pubs! It is definitely worth a visit. If you are not into the British culture then the visit up the Rock of Gibraltar is worth it for the views of Africa and Spain, also to see the Barbary Macaque monkeys! The hotels in Gibraltar are reasonably priced, and after the Brexit, now the pound is cheaper .
