Tauren Wells was the big winner Tuesday night at the GMA Dove Awards in Nashville.
The Christian singer won four awards for Contemporary Christian Artist of the Year, New Artist of the Year, Rap / Hip Hop Recorded Song of the Year and Pop / Contemporary Album of the Year.
Photo by Grant Exline /Icon SportswireWells, who was the former lead singer for Christian rock group Royal Tailor, performed his number-one single Known from his solo debut album, Hills and Valleys, and performed War Cry with show winners Social Club Misfits.
Backstage Wells said, “While it’s great to pose for all these pictures and getting to hold all these trophies, this doesn’t matter as much as what is happening inside our hearts.”
The 49th annual DOVE Awards were taped in Nashville, TN at Lipscomb University and will broadcast on TBN on Sunday, October 21st, 2018 at 9/8C.
