Tate Modern Riverside Landscape

By Davis Landscape Architecture @DavisLandArch

I find this apparently simple landscape design very appropriate for this public realm setting. Functionally, it allows for the free movement of large numbers of people, it is very robust, it provides shade and places to sit. The scale of the design and its detail is appropriate to its context, i.e. the large scale of the adjacent Thames River and Tate Modern gallery.
