Tata Motors' flagship EV concept, Avinya was showcased in a new avatar at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 today. The Indian company first unveiled this eye-catching electric car in 2022. It was a complete concept model. And the car that was shown today is almost close to the production model. Tata Avinya comes with new body style and new interior design.
Interior and exterior
Tata has given special emphasis on the interior of the Avinya car. Great experience to be found inside. The dual tone cabin theme and seats are the highlight of the cabin. The interior styling is very nice with extensive use of touch-enabled buttons and control panels. Like the concept model, the driver's display is located on the steering wheel.
However, there are not as many screens inside as modern-day EV concepts. Compared to the 2022 model, the exterior design of this car is more mature and realistic. While the concept version's T-shaped LED DRLs, blanked-off grille, and sleek LED headlights are retained, the new avatar's design language is more aggressive.
Features and powertrain
The production model of Tata Avinya will be available with a lot of features. It features a 12.3-inch display (one for instrumentation and one for infotainment), panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charger, multi-zone auto AC, 360-degree camera, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) like adaptive cruise control and lane keep assist. Will be in the car. The electric car is expected to run around 500 kilometers on a full charge.
When will the launch be?
The Tata Avinya carries a glimpse of the company's new design language. It cannot be said for sure whether it will remain as a concept model or will actually come to the market. However, based on this design and platform, Tata may launch a powerful electric car in 2026.
