Verdict on Taste in Music
Taste in Music is a short horror movie following a musician Thomas (Wiborg) spending time in a vacation home. However, a cosmic storm hits Earth causing his musical equipment to malfunction. He must fight back to regain control before he loses everything.
For a short movie, this feels like a great introduction to something much bigger. It creates chaos in the limited runtime and makes you want to see the next chapter. However, it doesn’t get enough of what it wants to be. Despite the chaotic nature of everything, it feels more like an extended trailer to a remake of ‘Maximum Overdrive‘. The imagination is there, and I am sure we could return for more of an extended journey in the future. The best way to describe this would be Evil Dead meets Maximum Overdrive.
Final Thoughts – Taste in Music brings plenty of chaos to the table.
