Hair Care line

Girls with natural textured hair (waves, curls, and coils) know how difficult it can be to style your hair and not look like your hairdryer exploded on you. Tanya Wright, known as Dep. Kenya Jones on True Blood, has tried all available hair care products until she discovered that her own blend of works best for her. And the idea of starting her own line of hair care products was born: HAIRiette of Harlem.

The hydrating, moisture-rich shea-and- olive- oil- based HAIRiette haircare line aims  to serve and provide a solution for the unique needs of women with naturally textured hair (moisture/hydration, frizz, shine) and provide products with extra slip and ingredients designed to heal hair from the inside out while promoting growth and decreasing breakage.

Interactive series

Besides the hair care products Tanya is also developing a fun interactive series about her alter ego Hairette. The interactive, 10-episode series is about the life and times of HAIRiette ARMS, an actress who discovers herself via her relationship with her hair! At it’s core, this entertaining series with multi-cultural characters is designed to create healthy awareness and esteem of women with textured hair.

Fundraiser

To raise funds for the HAIRiette of HARLEM Tanya has launched a fundraiser with some fun and cool rewards for funders, including Tanya’s upcoming book I found God in my hair: 98 spiritual principles I learned from my relationship with my hair!
To show our support The Vault is offering an advertising package on our website TrueBlood-Online.com.
