Tangerine – ‘Cherry Red’

Following a US tour with Bleachers, Los Angeles-via Seattle band Tangerine have unveiled the video for new single ‘Cherry Red’, a song that appears on their ‘White Dove’ EP (out today via AWAL).

Produced by Mini Mansions’ Michael Shuman and Zach Dawes, the slice of Haim-esque indie-pop is drenched in ’80s-inspired synths as the band reminisce about their wildest dreams and how ‘We used to have such a good time, we used to watch Velvet Goldmine’ before call-and-response vocals between sisters Marika and Miro Justad add a personal touch and then Tobias Kuhn has the chance to deliver a gorgeous Guitar solo right in the middle. The song finishes with the trio singing about ‘running in the dark’ but you’ll want them to light up your day with this stunning song.
