Tamera Mowry– Housley shared on Instagram that her niece, Alaina Housley was laid to rest today (Thursday).
“Today we lay you to rest sweet angel. I’ll miss you forever and your sweet smile. Until we meet again, Tamera wrote.
Alaina was one of the 12 people killed at the Borderline Bar & Grill shooting in Thousand Oaks, Calif last week.
Family and friends described Alaina as the kind of person that you wanted your daughter to be like. She was humble, yet the favorite student, a role model, a standout athlete, and the type of person to befriend lonely strangers. She was sweet, funny, quirky and driven.
A celebration of life will take place at noon Sunday Vintage High School in Napa, where Housley, 18, graduated in June before enrolling at Pepperdine University, according to reports.
