I’ve never been one to shy away from an accessory. Hats, belts, jewelry, you name it and I’m game to try it. I especially love winter accessories, and have a rather unnecessary amount of beanies, scarves and hats considering I live in a place that doesn’t get a typical winter. One accessory I happen to love is the turban. The styling possibilities are pretty limitless, and they’re a nice variation from your typical winter fedora or beanie. My winter hat collection includes a tan turban I purchased a few years ago from ASOS, and I just added another turban in one of the most gorgeous shades of deep blue that I’ve ever seen.

We’re expecting a few cooler days this week, and I’m hoping to finally get take my newest accessory out for a spin. I love looking for outfit inspiration online, and while I was searching for turban inspiration, I ran across an image from an Elie Tahari lookbook a few seasons ago. It was so gorgeous that I had to immediately go and investigate the entire collection. Turns out Elie Tahari’s Resort 2012 lookbook was full of chic turban looks. I’ll probably be a bit more casual with my turban look, but these shots are definitely pinned as fashion inspo. How do you guys feel about turbans – yay or nay? P.S. – My last turban look can be seen here!
