Maybe riding in the sky alongside Santa in his sleigh isn’t such a fantasy after all. This holiday season, Chicago Helicopter Experience is offering a one-of-a-kind opportunity to take flight over the city on a panoramic Holiday Lights Tour exploring Chicago’s best destinations from thousands of feet above.
If your family wants to do something totally extravagant this season, or if you’re looking to impress that special someone, it doesn’t get much better than this.
Lucky passengers will depart from a “hollyport” at 2420 South Halsted Street, where a festively decorated helicopter awaits with Santa himself as the pilot. Complete with hot chocolate, cookies, and holiday music to set the mood, catch a reindeer’s eye view of local attractions like Millennium Park, the Magnificent Mile, and ZooLights at Lincoln Park Zoo.
“Sleigh ride” holiday lights tours last for 17 minutes and take place exclusively on Fridays through January 1 if you want Santa to take the reins. Slots are available to book between 5pm – 9pm, and prices per person are $178 for non-private rides and $275 for private rides. Want to assemble a group of five?
