As the release of Apple Arcade inches closer and closer we're given our clearest look yet and what the service is going to look like.
Apple announced Apple Arcade back in March, and it's supposed to be a subscription service for games on iOS, macOS and Apple TV.
So far, the Cupertino-based company hasn't shared many details shared about the service. What we do know is that Apple has invested $500 million into the service, and it's supposed to launch in the fall.
In a recent leak from MacRumors has made it out since Apple employees are reportedly testing the service. In the leaked screenshots, Apple is offering employees a free one-month trial. This wouldn't be surprising to see in the full release of the service.
The other hints that have come out is how Apple is laying out the Arcade inside of the Mac App Store. Followed by, a few games including some called Way of the Turtle, Down in Bermuda and Hot Lava.
It's also worth noting that all of the games have the title 'Apple Arcade' above the game, leading us to believe if you saw the game anywhere else in the App Store you're going to know that the game is included in the Arcade subscription.
Overall, it's exciting to get close to the release of Apple Arcade and finding out how much it will cost in Canada. A mobile game subscription service hasn't been tried before but based off of the success of Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass there's a good chance that it's going to be a big hit.
